Evaluation criteria

When evaluating portfolios, the following criteria are primarily considered:

  1. Presentation of all requested elements:

    1. Grasshopper Code;

    2. Final result;

      1. Main element;

      2. Individual/secondary elements, when applicable:

        • e.g., X and Y profiles, in EX03

  2. Consistency of the presentation:

    1. Font:

      1. Same font throughout the presentation, or, alternatively, similar/complementary fonts;

    2. Text size:

      1. Sizes not too disparate;

      2. Analogous sizes between texts of the same type;

    3. Alignments:

      1. Analogous alignments between the same type of page;

        • e.g., if one page has text aligned to the left, the next page's text will complement it if aligned to the right;

  3. Quality of the used images:

    1. Proportion of the image in relation to the page;

    2. No background;

      1. When with a background, better applied until the page's edges, so as not to have a white frame;

    3. Quantity and distribution per page;

      1. In the case of several images per page, their presentation must follow a logic, according to the precepts outlined above; and their choice must express what you intend to illustrate, without being confusing;

Other criteria that are considered:

  1. Not valued if the student hasn't removed the pages present in the template from the submitted portfolio. The pages presented are an example, and should be replaced by the requested exercises.
